Hello everyone đź‘‹
Somewhat shocked to find that it is Friday again. This week has been full on, with a number of new engagements getting underway alongside network development and the distribution process for $TNC.
The network team continued to work on dynamic queue sizing for Gateway, experimenting with different modelling techniques to try to reduce the impact of a realtime response-time based load balancing algorithm.
Work progressed on the remaining subscription components for Console along with a few UX changes ahead of release of v1 of payments.
We’re going to making some infrastructure and deployment changes to the core hardware in the network - the network backbone. The setup here is a few years old and it’s time for an upgrade.
The build of application bandwidth and request usage monitoring services was completed. These services make up a key portion of the subscription process for CDN.
And an automated email payload generator was created and the Edge Mailer service was deployed. We expect to release this as an open source component later in the year.
And that’s it for this week. Short and sweet.
If you’ve not received your TNC yet, hang tight, it will be with you soon. We’ve processed six batches, and are now iterating through requests as they come in.
Enjoy your weekends.
